Research, Mentorship, and Community for Current and Future Under-represented Algebraists
May 31 - June 1
The Research, Mentorship, and Community for Current and Future Under-represented Algebraists conference will be held Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st, 2025 at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. This conference has three major themes: Mentoring and Transitioning Across the Profession; Belongingness in Algebra, Opening the Community, and Supporting New Researchers; and Innovation and Impact for Future Researchers. These themes were inspired, in part, by the work of Dr. Aloysius “Loek” Helminck, a respected and prolific researcher and advocate for increasing representation in mathematics. The conference will also celebrate Dr. Helminck’s 70th birthday.
For more details, see the conference website.
Deadline to apply for support is April 30th.
