Fall School on Methods in Mixed Characteristic Geometry
October 7 - October 11
The Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany will host a Fall School on Methods in Mixed Characteristic Geometry from October 7th to 11th, 2024. The purpose of the school is to make the methods underlying recent progress in mixed characteristic geometry approachable to a wider audience and to highlight some of the applications.
We will feature two lecture series by:
Linquan Ma (Purdue): Prismatic Cohomology and Applications to Commutative Algebra
Jakub Witaszek (Princeton): Riemann-Hilbert Correspondence and Applications to Singularities
These lectures will be accompanied by tutorial sessions in the afternoon, and a small number of Talks on recent progress in the field (including by Fabio Bernasconi (Neuchatel) and Wiesława Nizioł (CNRS) with more to be announced later).
