
Macaulay2 workshop in Wisconsin
June 30 - July 4
UW-Madison is hosting a Macaulay2 workshop in the week of June 30 – July 4, 2025 (before the SIAM Applied Algebraic Geometry conference). This is a five-day package development workshop, and people with all levels of experience are invited to apply.
Projects include:
- Tim Duff: Elimination Templates
- Michael Burr: Expanding interval arithmetic in Macaulay2
- Gabriel Ong and Sabrina Pauli: Traces and norms of symmetric bilinear forms
- Thomas Brazelton and Ben Spitz: Cp-Mackey functors
- Michael Brown and Greg Smith: TBD
Registration is now open on the workshop website. Please apply by March 25th if you need funding, and before May 30th if you don’t.
