There will be a Workshop on “NonLinear Algebra: Interactions among Algebraic Geometry, Combinatorics, Commutative Algebra, Convexity, Statistics, Optimization and Computational Biology” in Berlin, Germany, May 29-30, 2015.
This is the kickoff workshop for the project on NonLinear Algebra that is funded for 2015-2018 by the Einstein Foundation. The organizers are Fatemeh Mohammadi (Osnabrück University) and Bernd Sturmfels (UC Berkeley). For more information see the web page for the workshop.
