The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) is organizing an Advanced School and Workshop on Local Rings and Local Study of Algebraic Varieties, to be held from May 31 to June 11 2010, in Trieste, Italy. It will be directed by C. Huneke, M.-E. Rossi, Le D.T., Ngo Viet Trung, and R. Ramakrishnan (local organizer).
