A School and Workshop on Vector bundles and low-codimensional subvarieties will be held in Trento, Italy, during September 11-16, 2006. The main lectures of the School will be given by Ph. Ellia (Università di Ferrara, It) and R.M. Mirò-Roig (Universitat de Barcelona, Sp), with supporting lectures by L. Costa (Universitat de Barcelona, Sp). The School is mainly aimed at Phd students and young researchers in Algebraic Geometry, introducing the participants to research, beginning from a basic level with a view towards the applications and to the most recent results.
