WARTHOG 2022
June 26, 2022 - June 30, 2022
WARTHOG is a summer graduate school which is focused on a single topic. The goal is to get deep and reach a new and exciting result, while meeting a lot of broadly applicable math along the way… but starting from the basics. We get there with a strong emphasis on exercises.
The workshop is intended for graduate students at all levels and in all fields who have an interest in algebra (and have completed their graduate algebra sequence). Postdocs are also welcome to apply.
The 2022 WARTHOG workshop will be on the topic of Infinite-dimensional methods in commutative algebra. This was originally planned to be WARTHOG 2020, but has been delayed until now. The workshop will be held June 26-30, 2022 at the University of Oregon, and will be led by Andrew Snowden. More information can be found on the workshop website.
