The Institute of Mathematics “Simion Stoilow” of the Romanian Academy (Bucharest) and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Bucharest University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Ovidius University, Constanta, will organize the 22nd National School on Algebra, September 1-5, 2014, in Bucharest, Romania. The topic of the school is “Algebraic and Combinatorial Applications of Toric Ideals”.
The conference aims at introducing students and young researchers to new areas of research in the topic of the school. There will a be series of three one hour lectures given by Hara Charalambous, Jorge Ramirez-Alfonsin and Viviana Ene and several contributory talks. The afternoons will be free for research and open discussions among the participants.
