The Fall Eastern Sectional Meeting will be held at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, October 12-13, 2013 (Saturday – Sunday). This meeting will include several special sessions of potential interest to commalgists, including the following:
- Special Session on Combinatorial Commutative Algebra co-organized by Tai Huy Ha, Tulane University and Fabrizio Zanello, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Michigan Technological University
- Special Session on The Geometry of Algebraic Varieties co-organized by Karl Schwede, Pennsylvania State University and Zsolt Patakfalvi, Princeton University.
