International Conference on Algebra—A Satellite Conference of ICM2002 will be held from Aug.29 to Sep.2, 2002, just after ICM2002 Beijing, at Suzhou University in the historic and cultural city Suzhou in south China.
The conference is aimed at the following fields: homological algebra and algebraic k-theory, finite groups and modular representation theory of groups, algebraic combinatorics and coding theory, matrix theory, representation theory of algebras, algebraic groups and quantum groups, semigroup theory, commutative algebra and algebraic geometry, algebraic number theory and arithmetical algebraic geometry, differential operator rings and general ring theory, Lie groups and Lie algebras.
