The annual Joint Meeting of the AMS, MAA, ASL, AWM, NAM, and SIAM will take place in San Diego, CA, January 6-9. There will be two Special Sessions of interest to Commutative Algebraists: one in “Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry”, organized by Anurag Singh and Paul Roberts, and one in “Computational Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry”, organized by Beth Arnold and Amelia Taylor.
